Gonna have to cancel that - went to maplin yesterday and got the bits, but they only had enough of one of the parts for a single cable.

could create a smart list and copy the contents to an old skool playlist though.
 
has anyone installed the Intravee & alpine KCA420i setup? im thinking about it but unsure if its compatible with sat nav and dsp. says if you dont have the 3pin and 6pin plugs for the cd changer then you need a dice adaptor. figured i'd ask you guys if you'd know before i rip my boot apart!!

I've just found a white iPod connector lead in the glovebox of my 2006 Z4, but I can't get it to work with 2 x iPhone 3GS, a 2nd Gen iPod or 4th Gen iPod Nano.

I get no sound or sign of connection on the car from any device - despite pressing every button on the headunit !

I do get the error messages on the iPhones warning that the "accessory is not optimised for this iPhone"

Bunnyjoyrider told me that his connected via the 88.0Mhz on his radio

I have the aux connector on my Series 1 and used to connect my iPod and play through the head unit. However, I had a flat battery and lost the 'Aux' facility. :cry: The stealers apparently charge £120+ to reprogramme the head unit so I havn't bothered. Also the aux facility doesn't recharge the iPod so really it's a waste of time IMHO.
