I have purchased both the above products. I am not sure about the amount of impregnating agent to use. It is a 250 ml container and i was wondering if you use the whole bottle for one treatment or would half that amount be sufficient. Thanks in advance. :D

If this is the BMW soft top cleaner and conditioner you are talking about, I used about a third to half the container for the first application. Following the instruction to the letter will make this work really well. I use it.

Cheers,
Greg

There should be instructions on the back, just peel off one side of the label. It's something like 3 or 4 cap fulls to 1 litre of water, should be plenty for a few more uses.

Make sure you don't get it on the body work though, someone on here suggested old bed sheets/towels around the windows  I wish I'd done that when I applied it :headbang: A few car washes later though and the residues all gone

The BMW top sealant is best in my books, I also used 1/2 the bottle with the proper water mix . You get great beading and top is protected!
I would not use the whole bottle in one application-, again do 2 applications, then put the car in the sun or garage to dry

I finally got round to doing my roof yesterday. The cleaner worked a treat and was easy to apply and use. I used half of the 250ml bottle of impreganating fluid and found I had more than enough. I could have used half as much and therefore a bottle would do four applications. I did not mask of windows or anything but when I was finished I washed the car body and then polished it with Autoglym Super Resin. All the residue was removed after this. The car will be one year old in October so I treated the seats to Autoglym leather care and was impressed with the results.
