BMW fans unite(well Ducati) - bike related

I know there are a few on here that ride bikes too,

I have got this on hold pending a test ride tomorrow night, all being well is should be in my garage by next weekend, then thrashed lovingly all summer, will look nice next to the coupe i recon.

Those of you with a sharp eye will realise they didnt make the R1200s in boxer cup colours, this one has been custom sprayed from new therefore making it fairly unique and i think it looks awesome.

Got high levels of excitement now.

Iv test rode a few jap sports bikes but they just didnt do it for me, hopefully this will ride the way i hope it does, will keep you posted.

Always liked those and I've always liked the Boxer Cup colours! If you don't buy it tell me where it is as I might!!

looks great mate i remember seeing a hp2 that looked really good with all the carbon, i do like the s1000rr alot though! il maybe be able to get one in about 10 years!

Simple answer is im not buying it, dont get me wrong i got on straight away with the riding position and handling, i loved the noise and shove of the motor too its just in the end it wasnt right.

Funnily enough what put me off was the thing that drew me to it in the first place, i love the colour scheme but it will only ever be a lookie likey, i have convinced myself that its like the people who put 'M' badges on non-M cars, its just not right.

They were telling me they did a few of these from original yellow stock bikes they couldn't shift, for me i now think that if you want one it should be the real deal.

That and the fact that it is top money any they offered me about 200 quid less px than i have been offered at other places, and refused to move on their price or even chuck any extras/ free service or anything to sweeten the deal i decided to draw a line under it and walk away.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but the search for a new bike is over, i now have a new italian mistress to play with on weekends and evenings.

Fantastic bike it is too, feel really at home on it and basically ride it given even half the chance, anyway here's some pic whorage:
