BMW E85 Z4 NCSEXPERT CODES

I'm tempted to send you my DAT file to see if you can quickly spot /M only codes.. eg we have a different DSC module.

Some of those are in clear english - eg "OPEN TAILGATE" - is that really the code?

Hi,

It's been a while since there were any changes to the spreadsheet (which is an excellent source).
Have there been any new possible changes found or is this pretty much it?

Specifically I've been searching for the possibility of auto unlock on engine off or key out.
Is it possible?
I know on the minis from the same year it is an option.

Did you ever find a way to achieve this? I have both my Z4 and M5 set to lock the doors when I start driving, but it's a nuisance having to remember to "unlock" every time I stop.

As you say, other cars have this ability.
 
Lines 16 & 17 both say 'Alarm beep on unlock' is one of them supposed to be 'Alarm beep on lock'?

Can be set if you have Intravee for unlock if key is removed from ignition.

Pull door latch twice to unlock, or as another said, use Intravee II to unlock on key removal.
 
Sorry to bring back an old thread but I've been looking around with nothing available. I want to get the same effect as this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2aNT9_RA2c

I want the lights to flash when unlocking and locking the car. I saw the original post in this thread say something about unlock/lock and alarms but it seems like there's only audio? I can't get that to work either but I'd rather have a visual verification rather than audio anyway. Anybody know if that option is in the original list of codes or if there's something I'm missing? Thanks. :thumbsup:
 
i use PA SOFT BMW Scanner 1.4.0 for this. pretty user friendy (after install of the drivers) & i can code all of this, except for soft top closing/opening per remote.

for my car i did:
1 touch opening driver/passsenger window
1 touch closing driver/passenger window
USA Running light (amber)
optical & Acoustic signal on arming alarm
optical & Acoustic signal on disarming alarm
km/liter on the BC (instead of L/100km)
matched speedo with my (slightly) larger rims, so the offset in the speedo is now 0%

cleared all error codes which were in the system before

Yeap mines done, two beeps on unlock and one beep on lock, also my roof goes up with key :thumbsup:

yeah mine does the alarm chirps theor quite loud i set mine to flash high beam and low beam to when alarm triggers
