Took my Z4C in for its first service of my ownership last week (inspection 1 + brake fluid) and was pretty impressed.
On getting a quote and booking it in, I found the lady a bit abrupt (possibly due to my attempts to haggle the price down - they were very inflexible, but still cheaper than Blackheath or Hexagon).
Dropped the car off early on a work day and one of the technicians came over to chat as I got out, saying what a nice car it was and how he has a Z3MC. That gave me some confidence. No waiting, and the car was booked in and I was on my way within seconds. They offered me a lift to the station if I wanted it, as it's about 15 minutes' walk away, and kept me well informed during the day on when it'd be ready. I couldn't get there that evening, so I went to pick up the next day. The chap who brought out the car told me about his E89 and how he's a big E86 fan. All done, no issues. And, most importantly, they made it very quick, easy and stress-free.
A cynic would say that the minimum they owe you is to do some severe arse-kissing (especially given their elevated London labour rates), but it was the efficiency and their understanding that I might have an inflexible job and 100 other things to do that day which was great.
