So after just over 3 years the time has come to sell my beloved Imola Red Compact as I'm buying a Touring.
It comes with all the standard kit like cruise, rear parking sensors, climate control, Sport seats, Sport suspension and multi-function steering wheel, plus the optional full leather seats, CD Changer and power-fold mirrors.
It was registered on 15/10/02 and I am the 5th keeper. Current MOT runs until 25/11/18 and it is just about to hit 103,000 miles. I have a full set of books in the wallet including a stamped up service Booklet, and it has 14,600 miles until it next needs servicing.
The photos show it on its winter tyres which are 205/50 X 16 Michelin Alpins which all have 5mm of tread - I'll leave these on for another £150 (so £1,650 with both sets of wheels), but if someone doesn't want the winters I'll put the regular wheels back on. These are staggered with 225/45 x 17 fronts and 245/40 x 17 rears. Fronts are Pirelli P6000, rears are Pirelli P Zero and they all have 5mm of tread.
Service History is:-
12,118 miles - 30/01/04 - Oil Service at John Clark BMW
25,270 miles - 25/08/05 - Oil and Insp 1 at Sunnyhill Motors (Independent)
42,058 miles - 20/03/07 - Oil Service at CarKare Ltd (Independent)
56,893 miles - 05/11/08 - Insp 2 by James Paul (Independent)
72,482 miles - 21/01/11 - Oil Service and Insp 2 by Motest New Malden (Independent)
76,348 miles - 08/06/12 - Oil Service and Insp 1 by Days Garage (Unipart Independent)
78,866 miles - 10/07/14 - Oil Service and Insp 1 by Days Garage
87,626 miles - 07/12/15 - Oil Service, brake fluid & 1 new CATSensor by TWG Automotive
102,001 miles - 22/11/17 - Oil Service, Insp 1, gearbox oil change & CDV delete by TWG Automotive
Other jobs all done by TWG Automotive who are an independent BMW Specialist during my ownership are:-
82,229 miles - 21/04/15 - Cooling system refresh - new radiator, expansion tank, cap, temp sensor & thermostat
83,856 miles - 06/07/15 - New Differential plug gaskets
91,604 miles - 27/05/16 - Air-con Regars
94,492 miles - 09/11/16 - New High-Pressure PAS pipe
It is a tidy car for its age, but the front splitter has lived up to it's name and split! There are also a few rust bubbles on the offside front wheelarch (but none anywhere else) and the rear wiper doesn't work (but I do have a working wiper motor to go with the car).
I hope I haven't missed anything, but if anyone is interested please PM me and I'll send you my contact details.
Car is located in Sandhurst, Berkshire a few miles from Junction 4 of the M3.
