20i works for me, short journeys suit petrol and 4wd tends to be less economic. The 320d has almost no crossover of strengths. You could almost justify one of each.
Is that the same turbo engine in the Z4 20i? Not sure that it needs to be 4WD at that power output but I suppose it will give BMW something to compete with Audi.
We were told by a BMW dealer at a recent BMWCCGB day that all the F30 models will be made available in x-drive (excluding M) and the F10 will be after its mid-life refresh.
OG, did they say anything about the f20 1 series getting x drive? Thinking about a 125 and x-drive could be handy living at the top of some very steep hills in the west of Scotland.
It's about time the xdrive appeared for the 1 3 and or 5. They've been selling them as left-hand drivers for years and I'd be surprised if they're not popular over here if they market them right. The amount of radio adverts I heard last year for the Audo quattro range!

Mowflow not specifically no, but given the change in policy i wouldn't be surprised. Worth giving a dealer a call (perhaps Park Lane because its owned by BMW) or speaking to BMW customer services.
