Really!!! ...How s#!t is it!! After spending 1/2 an hour trying to add voice dial phone numbers... I gave up.. After shouting "CANCEL". or "DELETE" as it seemed to be incapable of correctly understanding a string of (what I think) were clearly annunciated numbers..
What a crock....

Yes, if you press it quickly, you will dial your last number; however if you push it for 3 seconds or longer it won't. Your contacts will come up on your radio display.

not sure... (but don't think so)
there are 2 buttons - the top one with the head and radar is for activating voice control
the lower one for the phone - (pick up / hang up) - i don't know off hand what the lower button does on short press or press and hold - manual in the car at moment...(perhaps last redial if press & hold?)

edit... just seen Geodoc's reply... if that is the case, then ok...

I have BMW Bluetooth in mine, pressing the steering wheel switch always try's to dial last number, holding it down for longer makes no difference, would have perfect if it did as then I could use siri.

Not really a problem for me as I don't make calls whilst driving but I do answer them (using the steering wheel switch) anyone know a way to use Siri on e85 Bluetooth using steering wheel?

Some info here...Looks like it's on the way but not currently available.

On my E90  when I added numbers for voice recognition I found that if you say the numbers in blocks of say three to four numbers at a time for the complete number this helps recognition

example 1234 pause/456pause/789pause/10 11

that was what I was doing, but it seemed to add in random extra numbers for no reason! e.g. I say "399" and it goes "3994" :( it would do it on say 1 out if 4 blocks of numbers, but that is enough to cause the entire no to be wrong, so I would start again and it would toss a random number in somewhere else... Grrrr!

Did you not get prompted " CONTINUE" after you paused

once i have spoken 2 or 3 numbers (e.g. 399) & paused, she would read back what she thought I said (e.g. 3994) and ask to continue? - the problem is that she stuffed up the input, therefore i don't want to continue, as the numbers she has are incorrect, as there is an extra 4 in the number now... :( So i have to cancel / delete as the number is wrong. WHen I start from the befinning, she will manage to stuff up another, different part of the string of numbers... :headbang:
