Bluetooth update..

Carried out the Bluetooth Update to my Z4 this morning, all went smoothly enough... :) apparently it increases usability with ios5 and some android systems.
 
Do you have i drive? Was it done ota or did you download on a memory stick etc

Have you noted any difference? From the features list I can't see it offers anything I don't already have...
 
Haven't really had time to evaluate any differences and won't be able to do so until the weekend now. The PDF blurb accompanying the update said it improves it's IOS 5 compatibility.
 
I put my vin in but it said no update available for me. I have a galaxy sII and the compatability checker now says I should be able to read sms and play audio.

I've not been able to get my Samsung Galaxy S2 to pair with my bluetooth on my 2005 Professional Nav, if anyone has had any success, let me know!

Mine works fine but it's a 2010 car. It pairs and transfers contacts over, I just don't get the other features which are now listed as available.
 
Correct, mine is end of 2009 and its pre MY2011 when combox was installed as standard. Combox gives bluetooth audio among other things. You can't add this by software to MY2009/10 without the combox retro fit (too much hassle for the benefit).
