Johnny, you haven't actually stated what you need the kit to do? Is it just for calling or media streaming?

I was told last week that the Dension GBL unit does all that invisibly using the standard head unit to scroll tracks and answer/reject calls. You can also have the USB or Audio lead available in the glove box if you want, saving anything on the dash. You do still need to touch your phone to dial out though.

Sells at £105 but I've not bitten the bullet yet.
 
I have the Audiovox MediaBridge and I have been impressed at how good the hands free is.

Don't get one with DICE branding - they were bought over by Audiovox some time ago and any with the DICE name will be quite old by now.

The unit you need is the "MB1500 - BMW/MINI" which is common to all BMWs. Make sure that you install the latest firmware (currently 7106) when you get it.
