Bluetooth/android auto

I have just sold my Z4 35i and have an Android screen which I was going to sell on here but haven't got around to it yet. It is the built-in type and is in good condition except for the top edges that are slightly damaged but does not affect the workings of it or the screen display. I will be selling for £220 delivered if you are interested. I included some photos as I was removing it from the car and have tried to show the damage to the top corners. Apple Play adaptor included and all connectors and cables and rotary centre console control but used the touch-screen mostly.

It also has Bluetooth and can connect a reversing camera

Simple to install, there is a detailed guide on here by Antrobus who also created a uTube video of the install.

Let me know if you are interested

Oh thats a shame. I'd love to have something like that but I wouldn't be able to live with the damage I'm afraid. Do you know what kit it is and a link to the video please. I can't find it.

You can’t actually see any damage once in the car.New units can be got from eBay or alliexpress for about £700

Oh, maybe I'm looking at it wrong then. I assume the controller goes in place of the coin holder thing by the gear lever.

Yes but it is easier to use the touch screen as you would with your iPhone.

It gives you satnav, Bluetooth, music streaming from phone or Alexia. Connect a rear view camera and it also gives you the reversing lines on-screen. Apps can be loaded, emails etc

Full installation video is here....

Any questions, just ask as I've fitted a fair few of these now. Advice is always free, physical work isn't  :driving:

Perfect, thank you. Looks like a decent bit of kit. Is there no way of getting those other buttons on the controller to work?

Unfortunately there is no way to have the Media, Tel or Radio buttons to do anything. Even though I had Bluetooth calls on my headunit it didn't change the headunit to telephone, likewise with the Radio button.
Apart from that though it's a good bit of kit to have for those without iDrive
