What are the best phones available (UK) to maximise the functionality of the bluetooth voice and audio options in the Z4 with Pro Nav, full bluetooth phone and audio options - phone book download/SMS download etc? I assume it would be best to use a phone which has the snap in cradle as well. This would discount the iPhone 4. I am due for an upgrade and may as well go for the best phone to match the car. The BMW website isn't much use, and apart form iPhones, most of the tested mobiles are reasonably old hat.
Bluetooth and Audio functions - best phone.

My 23i has connectivity package only. I put my HP phone in my laptop case in the boot and can still use the phone in the car (no snap-in adaptor available for HP from BMW). I have full access to the phonebook in my mobile. I use BMW USB stick 8 GB for playing music. It will be nice to a mobile under the armrest that can do everything, i.e. phone and audio. I think I will choose Nokia or Blackberry when I buy a new phone.
The cradle is a big plus, I have it in my SLK, and it's so easy for charging etc. Have bluetooth but no cradle in my Micra and plugging in a charger separately is a pain especially if I want my sat nav plugged in too. I know you won't have that problem as you have specified the nav anyway, but I'd always try and get the cradle and full phonebook functionality etc. Don't think you'll go too far wrong with the iPhone though.

I was having a laugh FFS I also have an iPhone 4 and would be interested in the replies but normally when I mention anything about apple you get shot down so just getting in the reply first.
