Blind Spot Monitoring Mirror Lights?

Hey everyone!

I'm looking at buying a g29 and due to the large blind spots with the roof up I'm leaning towards the Driving Assistance package (UK), however I'm struggling to see exactly what the blind spot monitoring on the g29 includes.
I've seen several videos showing the 3d view on the digital dashboard, but do you also get the lights embedded into the wing mirrors?

Also, do any of you drive often with the roof up and without the monitors - am I worrying too much?

Thanks!

I drive my car all year round so have the roof up a bit. I don't have blind spot monitoring. The biggest blind spot in a UK car is left rear. That can be awkward at junctions where the entry road is at an angle to the main road. Other than that I don't really have any issues once I got used to the greater observation needed.

I didn't have the blind spot monitoring either on my G29 but I never found visibility an issue.

Little triangle in the mirrors, lights up when vehicle is detected in "blind spot." Very noticable, but after 44 years on bikes I still do a "lifesaver" before changing lanes, it's ingrained in me.

I love the blind spot detection. Really useful.
The driver assistance pack also comes with adaptive cruise control which for my motorway driving is excellent.
Not sure what else it comes with, but it might be the cross traffic warning when reversing.

I agree that angled road junctions can be a problem if you have the top up but it's unusual for me to have the top up so I don't notice it. If you regularly have the top up then yes it could be an issue.
