Bleeding when changing roof pump

If I change the roof pump and motor, does anything have to be bled or do you just refill the oil and off it goes ok.

The system is self bleeding. Fill it up and run the roof up and down a few times. Make sure you keep an eye on the fluid level and add as needed.

Well I'm sorry but having read the title and seen where the pump is located I would have replied that bleeding was more than likely, yes. :rofl:

Was going to comment the only thing that bled when I moved the roof motor was my knuckles

But yeah- it’s self bleeding

Haha. My pump is already located in the boot, so a much easier swap out ( hopefully)
