Blast from the past

Last week, I stumbled across an interesting Alpina RS advertised on autotrader

It's now been sold, but I had a chat on the phone with the owner to get hold of the build # etc. Turns out that he's owned the car for the last six years but the previous owner was a certain Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran... gave me flashbacks to my misspent youth....

They did a (short lived) return a couple of years back - not quite the same though …

Not that I am anywhere near as old as you of course ..

I went to see them when they toured a few years ago. They were absolutely brilliant.

Did a pub quiz last week with a guess the intro round. Didn't know any of the modern rubbish but got Rio after about 2 secs. ( that gave my age away )
