The Black Swan classic breakfast will be on Sunday March 13. The free monthly event will be collecting any small or bigger donations any attendees care to spare.
Usual event times . Let’s hope the weather is kind.

This is the event we have been going to for a couple of years now.

Full details are The Black Swan, Old Lane, Ockham, Surrey. KT11 1NG. Phone: 01932 862364. (Old Lane is a turning off the slip-road onto the Southbound A3 just after J10 of the M25). They open at 08.30 for breakfast, bacon rolls, tea and coffee so any time after that works fine.

We usually meet up at Ockham Bites (KT11 1NA) at the beginning of Old Lane around 08.00 for a coffee, bacon butty, etc. to avoid the potentially long catering queues at the Black Swan but we still always seem to end up in the field!

It's an outdoor event so if the weather is OK I plan to get to Ockham Bites at 08.00.

Just to quote the obvious but the field is already wet and is guaranteed to be so on Sunday so please be aware and I recommend bringing wellies.

Tonymor,

thank you for highlighting the fact that they will be collecting for charities assisting Ukrainian refugees.

I would have like to have been there to show moral support, but I think the fuel bill getting there is best donated to those charities directly. :tumbleweed:

On behalf of all Ukrainians I'd like to thank you and all those helping Ukraine at the truly dreadful time.... :(

Rain is forecast for tomorrow morning so I’ll see how it is in the morning. Don’t mind a bit of drizzle but if it’s pouring down I may give it a miss.

Well the current forecast is for showers from 6am to 5pm so sadly I don't think I'll be going. :(

But I will if the forecast turns out to be wrong.

Hi, unfortunately I have to drop out also. both my elderly parents have come down with Covid so I need to go to drop some food off to them.

Just back from a very enjoyable morning. Weather held off and was dry throughout. Started to rain a bit as I was leaving.

It started off slow but very quickly became very busy. Some stunning cars on show.

You and your buddies support for Ukrainians is very much appreciated thank you!

Yes, great photos Nick.

The maroon Capri 2.8i Special stood out for me, although both of mine were early 4 speed models.

I'm gutted I didn't go - next time I'll just have to ignore the BBC forecast. :headbang:
