Black Grills and Aeros installed :)

Decided to give the skirt install a go myself. Surprised just how easy it was! Got them on this morning :)

Getting there now. need to figure out what to do with the lights. It looks like there are finally about to be some CCFL angel eyes released on the market as a complete headlight unit. Currently only in LHD from what I gather, I quite like them so im going to hang fire for the RHD versions to be released. black interior of the lamps should finish off the body nicely.

Im still thinking about the 1M bumper as well as I think that would give it the agressive moody appearance I am after.

Once that is done, lower it a little. Nothing too heavy, maybe 15mm as I think that will get the stance where I want it.

Thoughts? :)

Thanks guys! The rims definitely split opinion when I had them first installed, but now the whole car is coming together a little more I'm much more convinced of how they fit the overall look which was kinda the plan from the outset.

I still want this bumper even though a) it has a rep for not the best fit and b) it costs a FORTUNE getting it as its not available in uk (shipping ALONE is £600!!! :o :o ) but I think it would finish the hardcore moody appearance I am wanting. :)

LBZ4 Has fited someting simmlar just recently, i think you need air ride & super wide wheels to pull off the look IMO of course. Keep it subtle with what you have maybe add a splitter to the exsisting nose :)

Adding aero sideskirts is the only mod I would ever do to mine. Do you have details of where you got them from please?
 
Aeros look great, Really work well with a black Z4, Can look abit different on other colours either too subtle or just dont fit the lines of the car but in black they look great and give it a nice almost wide body look at the rear.

Definitely could do with a lower of some description as the arch gap looks huge. Im debating whether to lower my coupe for the same reason.

Have you thought about a front splitter for the standard front bumper? I feel most cars look alot better with a front splitter and gives a much more aggressive look at the front as well as the standard bumper sits quite high from the floor and now looks even higher after you installed the aeros.

Ive got one of these universal stick on ones at the moment, Sounds silly i know but lots of people said it makes a big difference and looks much better. Dont have any pictures on my car unfortunately, There is a member on here who had one on his coupe which gave me the idea.

I actually got them from a forum member who had them in the classifieds last year. Only just got round to getting them on the car. I think he got them new from Sopers BMW. Not a cheap mod though. Skirts were £400 and spraying was £120. £520 for a couple of subtle crease lines is a fair whack but worth it I think.

Have thought about splitters but the condition of my front bumper isnt great and Im not a huge fan of the look anyway. Other option is to go for a z4m front end but thats been done so many times Im not massively enamoured by that either. Might wait a while to see if that 1m type bumper becomes available in UK.
