Wouldn't want to travel with some random. Bad enough when I have to catch the bus.
If it's a regular car share where you both have the same regular commute and can share the driving, then I can see some bnefits.
Otherwise it just seems like a cheap mini cab service for the passenger. I presume the mileage rates are considerably less than a cab?

Never knew it existed and didn't realise people were comfortable with having a complete stranger in the car with them. I might do it just to see the drivers reaction when they see me stood there lol

Used to use something similar in Germany and never had a problem.

You usually end up with students. Sometimes pick up drop off sorting is a pita.
