Hi,

I am considering selling my z4, and was wondering if those in the know could give some advice as to realistic selling price.

Brief description of the car: Dec 2003 (53) 3.0i Sterling Grey, 37k miles on clock, I am 3rd owner, heated leather seats, bi-xenon headlamps with washer, cruise control, 6 CD autochanger, manual, BMW Professional HiFi system with bluetooth, Sat Nav, Grey hood, wind deflector, immaculate condition, 5 star 18" alloys, twin stainless steel pipes. MOT til December 2010. Next service due in 2500 miles. Taxed till January 2011.

Appreciate any advice provided. Thanks.

Never been a great fan of people just signing into forums to seek advise on selling

Photos?
Condition of car and wheels, colour of interior, sports or standard seats?

I'd start at something like £10.5k to £11k

I will give you the contents of my left trouser pocket for your car.

Go on, you know you want to.

Apologies for not putting the photos on sooner, just sorted out the photo bucket account. Good advice, thanks for that on the newbie area of the forum. I hope the piccies show the car in the light in deserves.

Thanks for the general advice, it is appreciated. Its not a done deal, just something I was considering and thought the forum has the best people in terms of z4 knowledge to ask.

I love the Z4, have done ever since I test drove when it first came out, so when we were on the market for a two seater, there was only ever going to be one outcome! :P

Been really happy with the purchase, and only considering future possibilites am thinking about parting, which wont be done lightly believe me.

If I were going to be persuaded to sell, I would be looking for something a lot closer to £12k to work financially for me.

I think you'd be very lucky to get someone to pay 12K for it, but you never know... while its a nice spec, I sold exactly the same spec car about six months ago for 12.5k... that was on a 54 plate 2005. Most 03's seem to be around the 10K mark, and tbh with the current price of fuel going up further, I foresee a lot of disappointed sellers...
