“Birdbath” hack

My poor old girl has been left outside for the past couple of weeks getting wet and I haven’t enjoyed seeing a pool of water freezing up at the base of the rear windscreen.

If you roll up some kitchen roll, get it wet, place one end in the birdbath and drape the other over the tail so its hanging lower than the other end, it magically wicks all the standing water away!

If i get one of these sorted out , I will put some time into making up the clear seal I had spoken about in another post ,, wont change the geometry of course , but the water wouldnt sit in the gap .
