Bimmian Illuminated Shift Knob

Just looking at the link to Italian Alex's V710's on white coupe and found this...

Looks pretty good and powered by an LED you connect to a power source that's on when when the car is. Am I right in thinking there are other illuminated gear knobs? Not sure if it would be too much for the interior or not. Dont like the ZHP so toying with a Stormwerks too.

I love the ZHP, feels so good. Just remember with an aluminium/steel knob it will be as hot or as cold as the outside environment when you get in your car. Burnt my hand more then a few times with my old momo gear knob :headbang: .

I do like the illuminated look tho, might have considered the illuminated ZHP if it came in plain six speed pattern! but my hand is usually covering it anyways

Good point Hotride, although I guess I could always make a little sock for it Any pics of the ZHP illuminated?
Also AlanJ - are you talking about the standard shifter or another illuminated unit?

UPDATE: Just emailed Storm-motorwerks on their new SMG styled shifter in titanium plate. I've not got an SMG of course, but it can be used in the same way and they should engrave a 6 speed on it for me.

Not that I know of, but one member on here modified his to illuminate, was starscream IIRC

Cheers. I found them on the leatherz site too. Although cost is borderline prohibitive once you factor in import charges etc.
