Big Mistake

I decided to try the early bird shopping today. What a mistake. Took about 5 minutes to find a place to park. I went to Menards. Who would think a home improvement store would be that busy. Could hardly get down the isles. First time and last time. From what I could see all parking lots were full. :thumbsdown:
 
I went out around 6 AM for a cup of coffee and the mall parking lots were jammed full and traffic was like I would expect to see on a Friday evening at rush hour.... :thumbsdown:

It is called Black Friday. This is the biggest shopping day after Thanks Giving. Let me tell you Terry it is nuts. Learnt my lesson well. Next year will do like Mark said. Will drink and not even think about going to a store. Of course there might be one and that would be a Liquor store.

BTW, Rick Hunter's a cartoon character from the 80's so I'm not surprised that the name is circulating wround the net.
 
So... did anyone find any good deals?

I received a lot of online offers, but nothing that made me want to buy anything yet. I think we'll do the same as last year, give the kids a gift card for the entire mall. That way, they can get exactly what they want & take advantage of AFTER Christmas sales when the deals are even sweeter. :thumbsup:
 
I looked across 4 major websites, and even did a google search. Alas, I could find no sales on guitar hero world tour or rock band II band kits.

I did see a lot of 30-40% off sales, one website (can't remember for what) had a couple 70% off items.

But yeah, screw the lines/stores. Online shopping FTW.
