So, i bought a used big brake kit from Peppermint and it's finally arrived in Cyprus. It's still at the shipping company but i can go and pick it up whenever.
Now here's the thing, i'm taking the car to a garage on Monday to have it checked out (for this: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=32043) and it got me thinking if i should have them install the brakes as well or try and do it at home.
I've got jack-stands and an OK tool kit and i've done a few basic things by myself like replacing brake pads and bleeding my brake fluid but is a brake kit taking it too far? How hard is it? Any special tools you need? How long would a novice take to do it and how easy is it to screw up? (I have been known to be a bit clumsy...
