Bianchi Sempre Pro (custom build) 55cm

I have noticed there are some keen roadies on here so thought I may as well advertise it here first - please note I will soon be putting it up for sale elsewhere at exactly the same price.

I ordered a Bianchi Sempre Pro with a campagnolo Eurus wheelset, Campagnolo Athena groupset (including Athena brakes with carbon levers). This is a full carbon frameset.

I then added:

Look Keo Max 2 Carbon peddles

Fizik Antares R3 glass fibre saddle

3t Ionic 25 Ltd full carbon seat post

Elite bottle cages black / celeste

Continental gp4000s2 tyres

Garmin edge out front mount

Garmin sensors

The bike is model year 2014 however in 2016 the frameset (frame and forks) were replaced under warranty due to a creaking bottom bracket.

It’s covered 3500km but the new frame only 100km as I bacame very busy at work and just don’t have time any more. Unfortunately it’s just sitting in the conservatory doing nothing at all.

Frame size: 55cm

Brand new the bike was worth £3000

I want £999

I only want the frame _ my bike has some cheap Jap stuff on it :)

If you could be bothered to break it I’m sure you’d end up even. The peddles, saddle and seatpost were worth over 500 alone when new

Also, it’s illegal to ride an Italian bike with shimano :poke:

That's a great price for a nice bike with some good extras!
What's its weight?

I'm on the lookout for a cheapish bike to take on the plane but needs to bs ally. No way I'd trust a carbon frame bike to make it through baggage handling anywhere!

Cheers, it’s a bargain for someone :)

I haven’t weighed it recently, now you mention it I’ll do that soon and edit the OP, it can’t be far off the uci minimum limit of around 7kg. When going up steep climbs in a low gear you have to be careful not to end up on the back wheel Peter Sagan style

I know what you mean about the handlers, I wouldn’t take a carbon bike on a plane either without a bike box, but they’re too expensive for what they are :(

I’m 50/50 on weather or not to sell my cannondale caad 10 (full 105 groupset) that’s got fulcrum racing Quattro wheels on it. I could be persuaded... what frame size are you roughly?

Even with the best bike box i wouldnt take a carbon bike flying.
I'm usually 58/L (185cm) but the Fuse in the pic is a M cos even though its a rebranded Ridley their sizings are all over the shop!
Im eyeing up a cheap holiday bike and also thinkin about the Yoeleo R6 or a Fuji for fast training sessions 100-150k...
U on Strava?

Sorry Chris I must have missed / forgotten to reply to your post... I am on Strava but haven’t used it in bloody ages, Tom Clark is my username but I’m not riding at the moment hence the sale.

Not advertised elsewhere yet, probably because I’m still sad to know it will be leaving the line up.

Sell the frame separately!! :)

I’m pretty sure the frame alone is over a grand new, mines done virtually no miles - if you bought it for a grand, you’d have a new frame and could probably make half back by selling the finishing kit etc on its own.

As my main reason for selling is to create myself a bit of a buffer for the flat I’m renovating I just don’t have the time or energy to break her up.

Just so everyone is in the clear Sinkrate has private messaged me to register his interest and ask for a video of the bike.

Px for a Trek superfly 9.7 mountain bike?

Hi Taffy, unfortunately the idea is to free up some cash so would be looking for a sale rather than part exchange.

The bike is still for sale, I’ll start to advertise it elsewhere soon since the summers looming and people will be getting their summer steeds out.
