BEWARE Z4 Stolen.

My daughter has just told me her friends Dad had his Z4 stolen earlier today from the NEC in Birmingham where he was working. He started work at 8.00 am and finished at 6.30 so it must have been in this timeframe.

If anyone comes across this car or comes across a car breaking for spares that could be it can you please post on this forum or PM me.

It is a 2005 black 2.0L roadster VIN WBABZ12040LC95183.

I will try to find a way to post a photograph, but only just heard this.

As an aside, from a personal perspective, how easy are they to steal as I am now worried I work 3 miles from the NEC.
 
No harder or easier than any other car, at least we have proper keys that can't be digitally by-passed. Its quite rare to hear of Zeds being stolen. I use a Pro Stop lock in the works car park, the Disk-lock is another good deterrent. Then there are all sorts of immobilisers you can fit. But bottom line is any car is nickable if someone wants it badly enough :cry:

Yeah I agree with what Marlon said. True is said of motorbikes as well, you just need to make yours harder to steel than another one (as bad as that sounds!). It's always going to happen, but the more deterrents you can add, will hopefully put any potential thieves of!!
 
Bugger, I work next to the NEC - do you know yet which carpark it was stolen from?
 
I don't know I don't know the guy myself, just felt sorry for him and thought it worth a post in case anyone on here comes across anything that may help.
