Better Alloys

So I have a Z4 with 108 alloys, in the 10 years of owning the car, these have been refurbished twice, the innor section always bubbles and peels

What other alloys are out there that dont do this. are easily to get hold of and suit the car, So far i've been looking at MV2s

If you avoid split rims, you will avoid the problems you have with the 108s. MV2s are a handsome choice, but almost the default option.

My first Z4 had MV2s but they didn't feel that special to me - my nephew had them on his E46 3 Series!

My next one had 108s that had not long been refurbed and while I liked the 5 spoke design I knew they'd start to corrode around the bolts. So I went looking for something different then I'd be able to sell the 108s while they still looked smart.

I got lucky and found a set of 295s off an E89 on here that are also a 5 spoke design, and because E89 wheels have different offsets they sat much further out in the wheelarches. But they seem to be quite hard to find, although Style 230s from the E9* range look very similar, but they are 19s.

You might find some inspiration on here:- https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=107556

Another vote for 107s. Had them on my four pot E85, the rest of the car was rubbish… but the wheels looked lovely 🥰

maybe its me, relly dont like the 107s :|

them 295s do look nice, i remember them coming up for sale ages ago

Would 290s fit from E89

164s, 203s

See i'd be happy to get wheels no tyres as long as current ones fit them, then get wheels powder coated, but state of some on ebay looks past repair
