I have a 2003 Z4 and I was wanting opinions on car covers for my needs. I live in north central Texas and Springtime brings all sorts of weather, from Tornado's, damaging wind, hail, etc. I know they don't make tornado proof covers, but.....
I was just wondering if anyone makes a cover that would protect against small hail if I get caught out in a minor hail storm overnight. I realize nothing is going to protect the car from golf ball size hail other than my garage. It's just that I have been on some weekend road trips while my precious car was outside at the Holiday Inn parking lot on a stormy night.
The perfect cover would be small enough to pack in the trunk, yet heavy enough to protect against small hail stones, and have a way to secure it to the car so as not to blow off in the wind. I may not can have the best of both worlds, but I know some of you have already done the research. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks
