best way to clean brushed aluminium interior

The brushed aluminium interior on my Z4 is looking very dull, dark and grubby. What is the best way/materials to clean this?

I use a piece of magic sponge . You will be suprised at the dirt that is lifted, I know I was when I first used it on mine

That's the type, although you can get 2 sponges from Morrisons for £1.99 or a similar pkt for a £1 from any of the pound bargain stores which is where I by mine from

I just cut a small piece off suitable for the job at hand
