I think I had the Maldives Blue cracked with dodo juice purple haze...

I use Werkstat Acrylic on the Silver RRS ... any thoughts on what looks good on Titanium Silver i want a real clean leak that picks out the real clean lightness of the silver

Optimum optiseal always looked great on my Z3M coupe in titanium silver..

Very easy to use and gives a lovely "sharp" shine.

Rob, try Poorboys White Diamond sealant followed by your choice of wax - i used that with collinite #476 on my silver z4 :)

Yea,but poorboys white diamond isnt a sealant...

Its just a glaze,so although it looks great when first applied it doesnt last long at all..

IME it last 2 weeks tops before it needs reapplying...

Blackfire Wet Diamond. Use it on my titanium silver, 5 coats or more, machine buffed with microfiber bonnet between each coats. Jaw dropping results.

... which is why I suggesting topping it off with a wax. You could just as easily use a sealant over the top of the glaze (which I should've mentioned I guess), but I've yet to find a sealant that produces as good a finish as a wax - at reasonable prices that is.

+1 For the Poorboys White Diamond then Collinite #476 over the top.

I applied these after washing, Claying (with the Meguirs kit) and then polishing with Autoglym. Took a whole day but the results were stunning! Silver isn't always the most rewarding colour to detail but I was suitably impressed and it's lasting very well!

I use Colin's Poor Moose's Blackhole.
It's not brilliant, but it sure sounds the part.
In fact it is so random a name, that they can charge extra.....

haha . as soon as i heard the "blackfire wet diamond" mentioned i wanted some .
i don,t even need to know what it is or does .
just the name is enough :D

Ok ..

I'm going for the following re-mix on what i used to do on the Maldives Blue

1. Prep with Lime Prime
2. Poorboys White Diamond
3. Dodo Juice Light Fantastic

The Werkstat lookes brillant on the RRS but looks better suited to brand new paint rather than 2006 vintage.

Should keep me busy over the winter !

Thanks for the advice on the White Diamond ...
