Best/safest parking at Heathrow

I need to leave the Zed at Heathrow for a week in a few days time. Not happy about this but I have no option. Last time I did this I used the pod parking but
this was with a company jalopy and so I didn't really look for nasty kerbs or notice the size of the spaces. Any recommendations ?

I've used sky parking with company cars, but never trusted my own cars as to where it is left.

There are always a few farms / large houses in the area that will take your parking, in the experience of my father, have always been responsive to 'the safest space' request. Then are out of the country presently so cannot ask who they used.

Whilst it adds significant time to drop off etc, purple parking are good when it comes to walking round the car & agreeing no dents etc. you leave it in a public area & they then park it, so any damage can only be done by their staff, so easy to prove.

Ik only 30mins away so always take a taxi as cheaper than my excess, appreciate this might not suit you though.

Business parking at what was pink elephant is fine. No one will try to steal a car practically on the runway. My zed is often there for days on end. No trouble. Loads of space so you can pick a good spot.

Only ever use the Heathrow Airport official on site parking - never had a problem (and us ever other week), just pick a good space if available.

Can't be bothered savings £3 by adding 30 mins extra with off site....

You are unlikely to have any issues at any of the business parking at Heathrow. Mine is a regular visitor and seems to like it. Try to park at an end so that the left of your car is at the end. Most people in business parking are on their own so they don't open their passenger door.

Do NOT use valet parking!!!

Thanks people. Will probably go with Purple. I used to use these years ago but forgot about the delivery inspection. Thanks for the reminder mj2K :D

I only take a taxi to LHR … £75 each way, but as safe as it gets 8)

Alternatively, I rent a local rental at £9 a day - nothing will happen to that :D

Maybe so, but there's little better than sliding back into your own drivers seat at 2.00am after an eight hour flight. Clear roads, nice car no traffic.

:poke:

Yep, whilst remembering that fresh door dent when you just returned to the car :poke:

I do envy those that walk to their cars and drive away, when I am yet again being let down by another taxi company ...
