Best place to mount a go pro

So I've sourced a go pro and it comes with a sticky mount thing

Want to make a vid of the intake noise, so where's the best place to mount the camera? In the cabin? On the side of the car near the m badge? Prob only gonna have one shot of doing it with the sticky mount so need to do it well :lol:

If your looking to record noise then you really want an external microphone - that way video and sound need not be compromised.

It's a no on the external mic as I've only got the waterproof case and mount

So the question still stands as to where to mount it

How about on the front numberplate, or on top of the bonnet so you can use it as a firing sight!
