Best place to get some touch up paint

where in your experience is the Best place to get some touch up paint?

ive had them off ebay in the past and they are always slightly out on the colour match

i need sterling grey

also can anybody point me in the direction of a half decent tutorial on applying touch up paint

I gave up on the touch up paints as they never really work, and use Dr Colourchip instead. You can do it as often as you like and the alcohol based wipe removes all the excess from around the chip from the clear coat but leaves the paint in the chip itself. Perfection really

I bought a genuine BMW aerosol on Amazon for £25 in 2020 and it matched my Silver Grey perfectly.

But you don't get much, just 150ml of colour and 150ml of lacquer, although as I only needed it for a headlamp washer cover that wasn't an issue!

Matching sterling grey is difficult. I’ve had good results with the oem paint stick from local BMW, using a tooth pick to slightly overfill, sanding back to level and polish.

When you say sand it back what sand paper are you using ? I’ll give bmw a try for a paint stick

Go to someone like Chips away.
They can scan the paint a mix you up a small amount
Far closer match than a BMW paint stick
