What's the best mod you have done to your Zed?

Mind is a close call... remote roof module, followed by the Dension Ice Link! :D

Adding the Aux input!! Love having a 30G MP3 player set to random and just going for a ride! 8)

A recognised BMW part number for the M. Not sure if the same exists for the standard Z4 though :?

No mods. I love my car just the way it is.

You gotta get yourself some chrome exhaust tips, AJ. I got annoyed every time I washed my car 'cause I would see a shiney, gorgeous Z4 with plain, ugly looking exhaust pipes.

BTW, Ducks, weren't you supposed to post pics of your highly-polished ones?

The only real mod I've done is replacing the antenna for a stubby one (thanks to inTgr8r's tip). I wish I had more $$ to do more. :(

hehe, I mean how do you find it in terms of performance and feel? :D

Doh, sorry

I tightens up the front end and makes turn in just a tad sharper. Keeps the front end generally a little more together and that helps negate understeer.

For a couple of hundred quid a worthwhile, non-visual mod

Yeah, I knew it was a popular mod with the Z3'ers, but not heard reports from too many Z4 owners :D

I looked at it with my previous Z. A 50% insurance premium increase changed my mind ...

I just polish mine. I spent a few minutes on them and they still look great.

The OEM, short, weighted gear-shift knob. The leather wrapping feels a lot better than the stock plastic, and the size and weight is a huge improvement. And it looks a lot sportier too!

It seems to be getting harder to find. I know leatherz.com used to carry it, but it's no longer on their site. I wasn't going to succumb to inflated ebay prices, and eventually found it at http://www.mileone.com/. Their site and search is atrocious, so I can't find the exact URL, but it was only 48.00 with free shipping -- worth every penny.
