Take some velcro, stick on MP3 player and car. Then take a 15cm cable from eBay, and voila!

I've got my lead hidden inside the glovebox instead - means it's all hidden away out of sight of prying eyes.

I couldn't be doing with re-routing the cable and taking the car apart, so the lead would always show anyway. I just take the MP3 player out and the lead when I park up!

Ah, I had to install my aux cable anyway so had the headunit out anyway. Yours is a very neat solution with no effort though

Thanks! I thought it was quite nifty, and even though I have an MP3 CD player, it's easy to just put my MP3 player in (which is dedicated for my car now).

Though I have just bought an iPhone, so might use that a bit more, and won't be sticking velcro to that!

I used some velco pads i got from Staples to stick my "car" nano into my cubby hole - and they are damn strong - each time i remove my nano the box unlips with it!
