Hi! I am wondering which is the best SLIM HID kid out there and what temperature should I go for ( i am between 5000k and 6000k). Also what is the prefered LED sidelight? I currently have a 5smd led but the output is not that great, I am thinking for either an 8 or 9 smd led? Let me know what do you thing from your experience.

I fitted the 6k set from hids direct. Colour and output are a massive improvement.

As for output of sidelights as long as they look better than standards bulb I was happy!

Can someone link some recommended eBay led sidelights. (Preferably some that look like a normal bulb when off)

I have bought a set off led canbus off hid direct and they look great with no fault on dash but they still light up dim when the lights are turned off.

Bought a different canbus set on eBay, but they give a bulb out on dash.

Thanks

Hi guys,

Not much of a help but bought a few led sidelights and again found them all dim. I got some off eBay and amazon. I saw a set on the link below which look really bright But don't understand how they would be bighter than the 4 5050 smb led ones I bought. Also prove at 8 quid for one is abit high

These would look a bit neater when off...

You may need to splice in some resistors if you get a dash error...

I have the pcb style 5 smd led ones and I think they are great when on. Up close they look cack when off but you've got to get really close to notice. I'm happy with them as they are pure white with no chav blue tint and match my cree led fog replacements which I tend to use as DRLs now...

Where did u get your fog led? How many LEDs in hm? Thinking about doing the same on my z.

Thanks

My fogs have cree in the nose and 3 or 4 smds around the side. I think these are the ones I have...

Cheers guys! I am between these for sidelights:

and

Currently I have:

which do not look too bright.

Also any suggestions on hid kids?

I think some guys went with:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370258289333?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Is the ballast going to fit properly inside the headlight? Also how is the performance if you have that type?

Cheers

35W right? and what looks better 5000k or 6000k? HID direct recommends 6000k but I saw some videos on youtube from other brands and 5000K looks less blue which I think looks more natural.

I went for 5000k which matches my LED Angels
