Hi guys,

I have been using Samsung music player for few years now but I just been advised to try out PowerAmp and N7player and oh my god !! They are both like night and day compared to the Samsung one. I have just realised how much I have been missing out....
But now my dilema is to choose one of them and I keep on changing my mind!
Any suggetions are more than welcome ☺

Used poweramp for years now..great app..not tried the other one you mentioned but the preamp and equalizer on poweramp are very handy when using the weedy aux channel on the zed

In car use i use Android Auto with my phone mounted to the right center vent, when not in the car Google Play Music because all my CDs have been ripped and uploaded to Googles music clound storage, also I like googles instant mix options, and there voice commands etc..

Power Amp Pro with FLAC files is what I use, mainly because I got an offer once to get it for 99p without ads and the like. It sounds fine and is easy to use.

Personally I prefer the sound of the Onkyo HF player that I used to use, but in the Z it is hard to tell the difference and the Onkyo had slightly less features and appeared to drain my phone battery faster.

Rocket Player is the best one I've tried. It's got all the features I need and the most customisable and pleasant UI.

I've used Poweramp for years also.
I read the reviews at the time and I liked the UI. Whether there are any better out there now I don't know but I'm still happy with Poweramp.
There was a trial version if I remember correctly.

another vote for Power Amp here, been using it on all my android devices for years.... try not to remember how long that is but I think i had the "Samsumg S3" at the time.

You know all European sold devices are mechanically capped at 89db. Some free app doesn't boost it at all. All a placebo. American ones are 100 db signal output.
