Best 18" Wheels for a 35i

Hi guys,

I'm looking to get some 18" winter wheels onto my car but everything seems to be either out of stock (M3/M4 reps) way too expensive (Style 513m) or they're 19" diameter (I saw Mr Wilks Veemans and fell in love only to find they're not available in 18" :headbang: ).

So, what're the best looking 18" diameter wheels for the E89?

Why so hung up on 18s ?
The E89 is a different caper all together than previous models , it rides much more like a saloon so get the tyres right & having 19s won't feel any different than 18s .
Also factor in the bigger wings & arches of the 89 & 19s aren't such a bad idea

IRD has recently ploughed a similar furrow , maybe worth a read on his experience https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=108808&p=1575223#p1575223

The 19” Veemanns I’m running with the right tyre combo are fine, not harsh at all.

Just read the op properly  indeed for winters 18s would be ideal so as with Busterboo's suggestion they would make a ideal second set to protect your primary ones from the salty roads

Really like those Veemans, but unfortunately they don't seem to do them in 18s. I currently have some Style 313s and love them, I just want to protect them from winter (also winter tyres on 19s are circa £100 a tyre more expensive than 18s  ).

What're the thoughts on these? Apparently you can get them with different offsets so I've used the 'willtheyfit.com' website and think I should go for 225/40/18 all around with an offset of ET30 on the 8.5J rim. Sound about right? Will I get any rubbing on the front being circa 8mm closer to the suspension (M adaptive)?

i like those, can't offer much more than that in the way of advice I'm afraid.

Having done a considerable amount of research on wheels and tyres, and learning far more than I wanted to on the subject, I have finally fitted some winter wheels to the car. I now just need to get some BMW hubcaps, and maybe some new dustcaps too...

I've gone for a set of Bola B25 18" 8.5J ET30 all around, with Michelin Pilot Alpin 225/40/18 winter tyres all around. Note that the car has M adaptive suspension and experiences no rub.
