I'm going to be watching again on the 13th.

Was about the only "reality tv" I have ever found entertaining.

Lol no way. Watching it again? :)

I'm gonna keep my eye out for the Zed, Maniac

Its back on next Monday as a series.

Oh! Yep sorry, with you. Thought you meant that you were gonna watch the same episode again, which I do do admittedly sometimes!

Whaaat - already seen two people featured as shoplifting apparently (one guy left prison yesterday). Serial offender?, soo gotta be dealt with by police.

There's programmes about the 'underclass' everywhere you look at the moment. They seem to be pandering to the general public's desire to see deep welfare cuts and they are designed to make you cross. Although i support such cuts and actually as smaller public sector as possible (including a non-public NHS), I'm not sure these programmes help as they tend to trivialise the issues involved and caricature the individuals which leads to a lot of negative stereotyping of people who may be struggling.

After watching this for 5 minutes I now have an answer for the what boils your piss thread...

Darwin is letting the side down :(

Watched this for the first time last night - can't beleive this is a way of life for some people

There is not much hope for them it's a sub culture that would be difficult to break out of - and I don't see much evidence of a desire to do that in any case

Typically we are supposed to feel sorry for spongers, druggies and crooks - who think benefit fraud is a right not a crime

Worrying thing is that this is just fodder for the daily mail sheep - who will choose to think that everyone on benefits is like this when this is really a small minority

Another channel 4 Victorian type freak show I'm afraid - entertaining but sad none the less

+1 on everything you say - saw it for the first time last night - the saddest thing is the kids - they have no future and will almost certainly end up the same. The only shining lights were the 50p man who came over as genuine and the mama that was doing her best to help. Eye opening reminder of what it's like outside our mainly cosy existence.

Interesting ........ zoom in and around all the stars are looking at the google cam !!!!! Possibly the Z was nicked and dumped there.
Main problem they know how to breed. Next one looks interesting with the Romanians moving in with a 15 yr old wife.......... It's beyond belief. :headbang:

Not likely the Z was stolen given its very unlikely that google photo'd the street the same day or week they filmed the show.

was brought up around area..... with gangs, violence and drugs...... where i lived made that street look friendly :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

im pleased to be away from the area, even more pleased to have escaped that life and its a place i never ever want to revisit tbh, luckily my mom started our businesses when i was young enough for me to not get caught up in that, move away and be able to see wow... lucky escape.... thank god for a determined hard working mother... #yourockmoma

Fecking scum, the lot of them.

Sat there all day doing feck all, smoking, drinking, large flat screen tv's etc and heres me wondering where the money for my next Florida holiday is coming from.

Fecking country is going to the dogs!

They've been moaning the tv show makes them look bad.

They are right It does, but maybe thats because they are bad!! :)

‘White Dee’ – real name Deirdre Kelly – was portrayed as a streetwise single mother-of-two who uses her knowledge of the benefits system to help her neighbours in James Turner Street, Winson Green, a deprived inner-city area of Birmingham.

But the Daily Mail can reveal that while the ‘mother of the street’ may look out for those living around her, she once had no scruples about stealing more than £13,000 from the city council which employed her.The theft included envelopes of cash given to social workers to look after by ‘most vulnerable’ tenants.

A court heard Kelly had worked as an administration assistant for her local authority in Birmingham for seven years but began stealing cash and cheques from a safe, while manipulating paperwork in a bid to cover her tracks. Kelly, now 42, was rumbled by an internal audit. She claimed in court that she had used the cash to feed her partner’s crack cocaine habit and pay bills.

The mother was only spared prison because she had no previous convictions and to ensure her children were not put into care.

I think last week's was more of a shock episode to get people talking, because this week's is almost depressing! :|
Oh and the Zed just featured again!!!
