Hi Guys,
I'm planning a trip to the Scottish highlands sometime soon with a mate. I have a very long summer with free time to fill and i love walking (we've been to the lake district on walking holidays as a family every year since before i was born). The plan would be to climb Ben Nevis as well as hopefully a few other peaks around the area over the course of a few days. I know i don't yet own a z4 but i know a fair few members here are from Scotland and a few have documented 'road trips' around Scotland which have been great to read and follow. I hope you don't mind me asking like this.
I would love to be able to climb Ben Nevis as an obvious milestone being the tallest peak in the UK but having researched this i am aware of the inherent dangers due to unpredictable weather, specifically snow. Any advice on the best way to plan something like this including good peaks and potential driving routes from surrey up to the highlands along with options for accommodation for a couple of nights would be greatly appreciated.
It would be great to do this but i would like to do this safely so would rather call it off or change to the lakes if need be.
Thanks in advance,
Barny
