Im sorry to say but im that guy who drinks craft beer. I dont bang on about, i also dont have a well groomed beard and wear dungarees.

Anyone else into their craft beer?

Hopefully i will find a z4 soon or else i will be that guy on the forum who actually doesnt own the car.

Ha ha , yup , seeing a tidy 2.5l on sunday. Fingers crossed and Lager theres some awesome stuff to drink.

I was pretty surprised when trying ‘Kordaat’ beer from the Lidl recently.
Living in Holland where I’m totally spoiled with the sheer variety of exemplary Dutch and Belgian beers it was a pleasant surprise to find a supercheap beer that didn’t actually taste like dish water!
€0.28 a bottle anyone??

However, this remains a firm favourite on the weekends:

Belgian beers, i do like them. Im into 10-12% Imperial Russian stouts or double ipas, they cost a fortune though.

Yup, I love craft beer but can't manage anything above 6% . My local has it's own brewery & doesn't serve 'run of the mill' real ales. Here's the Rurad bar at the back of the pub which is only open across the weekends. :cheers:

Absolutely . I do tend to visit most Saturday afternoons tbh. It's a bit of a spit & sawdust pub but everyone is very friendly & there's always some new beers to try :icb: .

Plenty of nice micropubs within a good walk or a short bus journey too around here .

Having lived in one of the best wine producing areas in the world (Marlborough, NZ) beer wasn't really an option. Thus, I'm sorry to say that a cold Corona will do the trick for me

I like craft beer but am pretty much hopped out from living in London for years, so currently on the rebound with local ambers and dark ales.

Do still love a draught pint of Gamma Ray, mind.

I'm a simple soul so my favourite is a pint of Bass, but I can't even find it in cans in the supermarket lately.

Also partial to Youngs Special, their winter ales and Fullers ESB but I'll try anything once - apart from lager!

We have Rebellion brewery around here and they brew some lovely ales and beers. They also do a lager for the girls...John
