Beep Warning Sensor When Starting Engine

Could anyone help please.

My Z4 randomly makes a beep noise when turning on the ignition and no warning lights appear, does anyone know why?

The light came on yesterday but nothing today.

My zed sometimes "bleeps" on start up on the very random occasion.... I've had no issues...

I've checked via the OBD port and no errors.... it's very random

Mine does this randomly as well

As you say there is no warning light on dashboard

Yep, mine does this as well. I didn't know if it was anything to do with turning on the ignition with the door open as this is when it seems to happen most? Having said that it is a bit intermittent.

most commonly associated with the pdc, if you had reversed into your spot with the pdc bleeping and turned off, to hear a final bleep on start up, if you dont have pdc then

I have pdc I wonder if that's my issue!

I sometimes leave my car in reverse gear whilst parked!

Mine seems to do it as a warning when getting near to the mileage for a service

i have something similar, when i start the engine nothing sounds and no warning lights but when i get to round 5 km/h it just do one random peep sound, and it doesnt repeat till i start the engine again.

My e85 used to do that !

It wakes you up doesn't it?
I checked oil, tyres etc and couldn't find anything . The car is still going strong today.

I believe it does it when the temperatures start to drop; but I believe it beeps at ~3C, so surely it can't be happening at the minute for that reason?

To add, mine has never done this, but then I never leave it in reverse having parked! I do also start it with the door open with no issue :lol:

I think it's just one of those things.
My Disco 3 did this from brand new out of the box and still does. If it's parked nose uphill it goes boing, downhill no boing.

I just live with it.
