Been asked by a friend if he can borrow my Z - undecided ?

Friends should always understand what tous meab the most to us and in truth no one will resoect your favourite item as much as you. Moreso if you don't trust a person you will be restless the whole time. And worse you will be imagining things have gone wrong once he has returned it even if they have not.

It is so true, car hire is too cheap to ignore. Just say you can't but can drop him to car hire place etc. A true friend will never get upset 👍

I've lent my friends cars before, depends if he will drive it sensibly or not.

My ex-partners brother lent my Smart Car for a couple of weeks and I had a phone call one day saying 'The car's blowing white smoke'. After I got it recovered with my breakdown cover, it turned out that he had blown oil through the turbo. Mainly because he had been driving it that hard.

Anther friend has borrowed my Lancer as he has 2 kids and his Fiesta has a broken gear box and he is fine, he pushes it hard from time to time but he knows how to handle a car and if anything did break he would fix it!

All depends on you, if you do say no, then hopefully your friend won't be offended.
