As the title says, its been a busy week! I started last saturday with help from stupot67 by changing all four coil springs for the Eibach pro kit. I took the opportunity while the car was up on blocks to have the wheels done so all four went to Rimtec in Milton Keynes. They did a great job by stripping them back then powder coating and although I initially wanted a shadow chrome, I am extremely pleased with the new colour  They kept the wheels for a few days so it was time to give the callipers some TLC! After a good clean I coated them with an epoxy paint in gunmetal and tidied the hubs up with silver hammerite. New rear Textar brake pads and a brake fluid change was meant to finish the week off finished until I decided to take the front wing and good badges off.

Its too early to give a fair comparison of the Msport versus Eibach springs but it is definitely less crashy! I also like how it is sitting and IMO the arches are filled better.

I still need to do something with the wheel nuts although I'm not sure if paining the tops will do the job So I might replace them all. Now time for the compulsory photos :D

The whole car looks great Pastry, really like the wheel colour and calipers, top job.

However.....look at those wheel nuts, hells bells, they really let the side down, details man details.... :poke:

Oi you too, I was just saying to stupot67 this morning about getting new ones or painting the tops of the existing? lets face it, BMW wheel nuts are crap :headbang:

Looks great but as Fred says those bolts let it down severely

Get some covers for them or clean them up and paint them. They are letting your lovely wheels down.

Looks belting that mr P

looks great, only thing is the wheels look like they need spacers now. Seem too far in the arches now, maybe its just the photos

Paul, as Stuart says' get some caps. I tried to paint my nuts () and every time I removed the wheels, the paint chipped off and looked crap

The caps I bought didn't fit properly. Bit s**t really. I'm waiting for spacers and then fit new bolts.

Car looks lovely mate!! I really want some Eibach springs at the moment!

What size tyres are you running? They look a bit chunkier than mine.

Cheers, I'm happy with the results so far
I'm running 235/35 and 255/35 so slightly over sized. Somebody earlier mentioned spacers but I don't think I have room for them now.

May be worth trying 12mm on rear but fronts look fine to me
