Beautiful aesthetics and design in a Mercedes

Ok, so I have a love of good design and appreciative of the tactile sensation of good materials....and this really does it for me. In a Mercedes S Class...wow

I personally find it too fussy, with too many levels and layers, but I know an S class will have a lot of buttons for all they toys you get!!

Compared to the older S-class cabins I think they've done a very good job in getting rid of, or at least hiding, the endless sea of buttons

It's just a shame given it's a Mercedes, that it will eventually be plagued with electrical issues.

Jokes side, it's amazing to see the advancements over the w220!

But a car like that, I rather be in the back!

I like it... Recently replaced the wifes car with a C class coupe - a compromise to the 40k slk she wanted  And i personally like them a lot.

Hers has electric memory seats too and has a round selector with 3 setting... instead of buttons like that... And the buttons with the seat heaters in the doors work so much better. Also frees us the dash as the seat heater buttons would have to be there.

If that's how you want to spend your cash.... IMO it's just too many curves and levels as was said before.

That steering wheel is truly hideous.... It just looks like they are trying too hard
