Yes - Monday.
It was also very difficult to get thro to an agent today. I'm now starting to regret sending it away for repair however they will have their chance of redemption.

The really annoying factor is that they have replaced parts that obviously didn't need changing and charged me for the privilege of doing so. The machine hadn't been tested before its return either.

Its now back to the packets of instant cappuccino for a few weeks :thumbsdown:
 
Get a filter machine for £50 and be done with this espresso nonsense with all the wet lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites etc. Horses for courses but I find filter coffee produces rounder flavours, is less intense and you no longer get the headaches even though you still get your caffeine kick. If you want some froth, do the old fashioned method - boil some milk and pour whilst creating a love heart with a spoon. And then you can say it is homemade :lol:
 
Our machine has just died after 8/9 years of constant use so I’ve reverted to using an old Moka and it’s excellent, better than the machine in fact.

As a result I’m in no rush to fix or replace the machine when this €5-10 moka is so good.
 
So my all singing all dancing Krups now has a fault!

When I empty the grounds container, there is loads of thick sticky liquid behind it, something is leaking after the brewing stage.

Krups only service in-warranty machines and sub the rest out to a company who’s website is www.repairitreuseit.com

Phoned them. It’s £125 to include collection, repair and return. Includes up to £10 of parts.

I’m going to do it as it’s a £1k machine that I use everyday, so to me it’s worth it, but hope they do it properly and don’t replace parts unnecessarily (although it’s probably due a good internal clean/service).
 
I do hope they get it right first time!
My machine came back from Delonghi and it seems ok this time - they did forget to send the new water filter I had paid for a new one.at their first attempt at a repair.

Sounds like the service you’ve had has been quite poor, but fingers crossed it’s ok now.

Make sure you get that water filter! They should give you one as good will.
