Battlefield 3 - Xbox 360

10,000 members on here.......I can't be the only one playing this.

Anyone else playing this. I've been playing this online from launch and have just ranked up to 100 star Colonel.
Been playing with a lot of the same guys for about 7 years when Battlefield 2 was launched. We're a friendly bunch ,most of us being 40yo plus and a few younger guys. Also a few female players who are all extremely good.

Anyone?

I've been way to busy with halo 4. Insane improvements over the already epic bungie offering.

Game play, graphics........ Wonderful game. Me n my best mate just finished legendary , soooooooooooo awesome.
If battlefields is anywhere near as good as halo.... Ill eat my own poo.

I have bf2 and bf3, and have gone back to playing bf2. Its just more fun.

I never really got into 3, the dashboard getting into games, lack of hardcore at the start etc

We did have a go at getting some Forza racing together. I wouldn't mind having a bit of a shoot em up on the Xbox if we've all got a common game...

The massive benefit of Battlefield is the environment is destructive, so you can't hide in buildings, behind walls etc, everything can be destroyed.

I dont know if the MW series has this now, but I couldn't go back to being able to hide behind a thin wooden door and survive a grenade.

BF3 allowed you to go prone, the one major downside of BF2, was that you could only kneel.

I can do Forza 4. Just seen son and heir has taken Black ops 2 with him..

Perhaps I should buy MW3 or BF3

Give BF3 another go.......lots of new maps,weapons etc. Only thing for Noobs though is there's no ranking filter on the games so anyone starting now will be playing against 100 star Colonels.

Don't worry about the Sad Dad tag Bing.......I get it all the time.

When my eldest daughter got married this year, my son-in-law informed everyone during his Best Man 's speech that the first time he met me I had a game controller in my hand with a headset on.

I've had every console since the Atari VCS and Colecovision and have most of them boxed up in my loft ready to flog on during leaner years when retired.

Remind him who paid for it and put it back where it belongs! Or disconnect his network so he puts it back

@Stuart - it is useful having disconnection / confiscation options... Me having my own would make such actions more painful too :evil:

We tried to get a Forza thing on here before. I had set up a Z4 Forum team on Forza 4. Think therr are 2 members in it lol.

Mafoo, mines the same as my Forum nickname.

Currently trying and failing on Forza 4 to crack 7 minutes on the Nordschliefe. My best so far is 7.03s in some Le-Mans style Honda racing car.
