My battery is dead from a side light that went out and caused the indicator to remain on CONSTANTLY. RAC came out and battery is totaled (not holding charge)

Before I go to Sytner and buy a new battery, is there is cheaper/better place to buy one anyone can recommend?

try europarts, they have a discount on at the moment as well think it is 15% off on batteries but dont quote me on that

just had a look no discount for batteries but they have a good range from 70 to 100£..... no i dont work for them

the Bosch S5 is the one to go for. I got it in the summer for around £80
5yr warranty!

Do what he said, also available in Halfords if you need it quick.

I just installed the Bosh one which I purchased in Halfords. I got it for the five year warranty and also was more powerful then the other options available. Be careful not to over tighten the nuts on the terminal clamps, I snapped one of my bolts by doing this last year.

I get ALL my car batteries from tayna.co.uk - their prices are excellent and I've ever had a problem with delivery or integrity and I must have bought 5-6 the last few years with all the cars we have out front LOL.

just a quick update if you use battery15 in the promo code on the europarts website you will get 15% off :)

I can get a bosch s5 with a five year guarantee for 70£ think i should be getting commission

Forgot to mention, the car may have gone into transport mode as a result.....can't remember all the exact issues it causes but heater only works on dead slow and aircon doesn't operate (the others are threaded on here somewhere) - you'll soon find out with new battery....if it has, you need to cross the dealers palm with around £35 worth of silver to get it unprogrammed. :(

I went with it in summer. So far no issues. Need to wait and see how it copes in winter
