Battery dead!

My battery barely managed to start my 53 plate 2.5l roadster this morning. Anyone know what battery I can buy that will fit? I believe the Bosch HSB096 will be ok? Could someone confirm before I reserve one for pickup at Halfords? Thanks :)
 
If you've got a local costco (and are a member), then you can get a good price on their batteries (Bosch IIRC).
 
Have a look on here ...... put you reg. no. in and it will search for you. Bosch, depending on quality etc, from £60 - £120.
 
Thanks guys, just typed my reg number in on the Halfords site and there was a Bosch battery listed for my car for £110. Picked it up and will fit it tomorrow probably. Anything I need to know before I swap them? Or is it straightforward?

i am looking for a Bosch battery myself for 3.0 2004 model, what type did you fit, was it the S3 or S4 (005) or S4 (007)

I am keen to know the difference if there is any , all i know is s3 = 3yrs guarantee, s4 = 4 year guarantee, any other differences ?
 
You may like to know that the Bosch silver S4 is £99 at Euro Car Parts. I bought one a week ago- £22 cheaper than Halfords.

Does your aircon still work? Wondered if you go into transit mode with the battery off.

My battery went flat twice be in 2009 and I has disconnected a number of time and never had this happen, think you were unlucky.
 
Think mine was the S5 from Halfords for £110 if I remember correctly. No problem with the air con / transport mode at all. It did cause my damn airbag light to come on though :x
The guy who replaced my alarm system cleared this for me at the same time and it's not come back on again since :D
