Battery change, dissabled radio,

Hi, I have just swapped batteries on my Z4 as old one going flat, only had vehicle a week so do not know if its the battery or voltage drain. Anyhow when new battery installed have a message on radio saying dissabled, how to I rectify as do not have a code.

The radio doesn't have a code in the traditional sense, it talks to the car over the Kbus to check it's at home. Been playing with anything else?

no, just changed the battery and now saying disabled, should i disconnect the battery for ten minutes to let itself reset and then re connect,

Can't hurt. The only times I've had a radio whinge like that is when trying to power it up on the bench.
