That's only about £2k less that I was asking for mine earlier in the year, and mine was in A1 condition, with 20k miles less on it.parlivus said:

I assume the seller knows this will be the cheapest non-cat Z4MC in the UK and will not budge much, so it will tempt someone who doesn't mind spending a couple of £000 for a bit of work. Either that or he's desperate to sell and will bargain for a quick sale.
Mileage is average high for what you might ideally want, but let's say you negotiate £1K off and put that back into the car (wheels properly refurbed, paint correction plus odds and sods) you'd have a nice M at a good price.

There seems to be a real divide developing now on Z4MC values. Just from viewing recent sales on the forum, get the mileage into the high 50's and 60's and they struggle to achieve much more than £13k. Below 40k and £16k+ is very possible
Looks an honest car. If someone isn't put off by mileage and sorting out the rough edges I agree with Stuart that it could be a good buy, subject to a thorough inspection obviously.

So, 200 for a wheel refurb, 100 to a dings guy, 300 to chipsaway and 50 for a new washer jet cover. Almost a grand for a cosmetic refresh.
I dont think thats too bad.... IF theres no mechanical work due. If theres loads of life left in the brakes and tyres then i would consider it. At least he's being honest about it. I looked at some high priced cars that were described as 'immaculate' that really wern't.

Certainly consider the cost of rectifying the above will probably bring it up to market value. But as it is, seems a good price, plus as others have said I think he's after a quick sale so would be willing to drop further..

I looked him up on Pistonheads and he seems genuine enough and by all accounts is going to miss his Zed, I think it's an honest car that's been used rather than pampered. As others have said, it'l be £1k to refresh it, then keep £1k back for tyres & brakes (and hope there's little more to do) and it's cheap enough. But it will always be a high miler unless you don't drive it.
